It is going to be a busy Monday so very quickly some news from The Ken. We are glad to announce the addition of two more people to the team. Let me introduce them. First, Ruhi Kandhari.

Ruhi started writing news features a decade ago. Born and raised in Delhi, she has written for various publications including The Economic Times, Down to Earth and Tehelka. She has written on health, energy, and mining. An undergraduate student from the University of Delhi, Ruhi has a specialisation in Print Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism and an M.Sc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics. In her last assignment, she was a special correspondent with Tehelka. Ruhi spends her weekends taking ballet and modern dance lessons. At The Ken, Ruhi will write on health care and the intersection of technology and policy.

Next up, Samuel Isaac.

Samuel joins us from Worldwide Media Pvt Ltd (Times Group). As manager, consumer & retail marketing, Samuel handled the product portfolio, print & digital, for nine consumer magazines – Femina, Filmfare, Top Gear, Lonely Planet, BBC Knowledge among others. Samuel was part of devising marketing programs, pricing strategy, and growth initiatives. Samuel has a total work experience of about nine years and has had stints with Direxions Marketing Solutions and ICICI Bank. Samuel completed his masters in marketing management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai and holds a B.Sc degree in chemistry from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai University. The dude is passionate about football and surfing. Samuel will be based in Bengaluru.
