They say pandemics aren’t a good time to be changing jobs. Thankfully, either no one sent that memo to Seetharaman G, our newest team member. Or they did, but Seetharaman knew like most of us at The Ken, that unsourced conventional wisdom isn’t great to live by in either good times or bad.
Seetha, as we call him, joins us in Mumbai as our Bureau Chief and Senior Staff Writer. He joins us from Economic Times where he was a Senior Assistant Editor writing deeply reported features for its Sunday Magazine.

Seetha started his career in 2008 as a business journalist with the newspaper DNA before moving to business magazine Business Today in 2011. Since joining ET Magazine in 2013, he has written compelling feature stories on beats as varied as technology, infrastructure, energy, banking, climate change, science, health, politics and agriculture!
Trust me, it’s very rare to see feature writers consistently balance depth, variety and productivity over years. But Seetha seems to do all of them quite effortlessly.
Seetha will be based in Mumbai and part of our Editorial Leadership team, reporting to Seema, our Editor.
