We’ve been busy. Working hard. Telling stories. Come to think of it, it is September 2017 already. Very soon, we will complete a year. Anyway, I’m sure there will be time for rumination but right now I have some excellent news. We have two new people on board. So, introductions.

Durga M Sengupta

Durga joins us on the desk as the copy editor. She will be editing all our copies. Also writing. In-house nitpicker, to put it simply. In her previous assignment, she worked at Catch News, for about two years. Durga has also worked at Hindustan Times, with a brief stint at ScoopWhoop. She joins us in Bengaluru. When not editing, Durga says she’ll be found wandering the streets of Bengaluru, serving the stereotype of a new girl in the city. She can be reached at durga at the rate the-ken.com

Sidhartha Shukla

Right away the name cuts short to Sid. So, Sid joins us as a staff writer. He will be writing on new technologies. In his earlier stint at Moneycontrol, the website owned by the Network18 group, Sid wrote on cryptocurrencies, cybersecurity, business, and finance. Born in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Sid has spent most of his life in Jalandhar, Punjab. He has a BSc in Mathematics from St Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Sid is a comic book nerd and a big fan of Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman and Brian Azzarello. He can be reached at sidhartha at the rate the-ken.com

That’s all from me. For now.
