There was a time when I used to agree with the larger theme of this adrenalin-pumping hit—past and present generations are not wholly responsible for the innumerable disasters the world has faced over the past century.
Nowadays, though, with human-driven climate change slowly massacring the world through ever more frequent cyclones, droughts, wildfires, and rising sea levels, I have a different opinion. Because we are responsible for this.
We DID start the fire. And now we have to fight it.
