Most avid gamers have heard of, if not played, The Last of Us Part II. The third-person action game, set in a fictional post-pandemic world, released in June, even as Covid-19 was ravaging the real world. It quickly became the fastest-selling exclusive game of Japanese conglomerate Sony’s PlayStation 4 console.
Six years in the making, with a budget of US$100 million, The Last of Us Part II can easily rival blockbuster films. What people probably don’t know is that many of the game’s hyper-realistic visuals—from vehicles to buildings—were created by Secret 6, a game development studio based in the Philippines.
