Talks like an IIM, walks like an edtech: what exactly is Masters’ Union?
Dear reader, thank you for your comment and insight. It's indeed both intriguing and interesting how MU has managed to achieve points 1 and 2. The founder Pratham told me he went to the masters with the idea of what he wanted to do at MU. The masters wanted to "give back" as well and came on board. He had the access ofcourse - for one, he is a successful entrepreneur himself and second, he comes with some solid family connections (read LPU) 2- I reached out to several of these potential IIM-level students. The sense I had was that the motivation for each varied - some simply came in because this was a tech-focussed MBA, some saw the names of the people backing MU (some very prominent ones there). One way of ensuring they don't come off as a scam is disclosure to students. One of the students from the second cohort told me he called 55 of the 60 students from the first batch, numbers that were shared by MU, so students could do their diligence - Alifiya
